About Rachel Lamb

My career began at Northumbria University (which was Newcastle Poly for most of the time I was there) where I graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Fashion and Textiles. I went on to specialise in women’s fashion at the Royal College of Art, London, and worked for several London fashion houses. However, I always wanted to design and make garments that excite me, and running my wedding dress studio for the last 20 years has enabled me to realise my dream. I love the craft of making clothes, and seeing the process through from start to finish with my clients. 

When I’m not working, I’m generally looking after my daughter, thinking about getting fit or making lots of soup!
