This post shows a short lace bespoke wedding dress with a belt, for a small intimate and informal wedding ceremony.
Bride Jo commissioned this wedding dress because she wanted something original and comfortable that she felt she wouldn’t find on the high street.
A very lightweight ivory lace was chosen to overlay a peachy pink silk.
The bride is petite in height too, so this was another factor in her choosing to have a bespoke dress. The proportions are cut to be correct for her figure.
It’s a very cute dress design with full lace sleeves and a dirndl shaped knee length skirt.
The lace is so pretty and light.
For me, it’s the kind of dress that inspires further designs in differing proportions. A long version with a full skirt would be interesting, or a slim version with no sleeves perhaps?
